Europe Medicare sponsors employee at Night of the Refugee 2022
Europe Medicare is proud that manager Mirjam Libbers took part in the Night of the Refugee 2022, on 18 and 19 June. She walked a distance of 40 kilometres to raise awareness for refugees worldwide.
Worldwide, there are as many as 82.4 million displaced people — meaning 1 in every 100 people is fleeing conflict or persecution. Europe Medicare provides dental care to asylum seekers in its mobile practices and financially supported this campaign.

Europe Medicare supports UNHCR, the UN refugee agency in the Netherlands
UNHCR coordinates global humanitarian aid for refugees and displaced people in countries such as Lebanon, Bangladesh, Syria and the Sahel, with an extensive operation in Ukraine. Services include safe shelter, food, water, protection and medical assistance.
At Christmas, Europe Medicare made a donation to support UNHCR’s activities in the Netherlands, as an expression of our connection with vulnerable people — even beyond the dental practice.
Europe Medicare embraces diversity
Designer Omar Munie, who fled Somalia at the age of nine, created the ‘Omarmband’ — bracelets made from life jackets used by refugees on their crossing to Europe.
Europe Medicare purchased an Omarmband for all employees, in support of refugee projects in unstable regions and at Europe’s borders. Embracing diversity starts with awareness.
